1. Introduction

Welcome to the Haelan Academy, Inc. for Trauma and Neurospiritual Healing (“Academy,” “we,” “us,” “our”), operated by The Haelan Academy, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Tucson, Arizona. By enrolling in, accessing, or participating in the Academy—including all course modules, community forums, live sessions, and related digital content (“Services”)—you (“User,” “Student,” “Member”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Program Access & License

Your enrollment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Academy content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
You may not share, copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Academy content (including videos, documents, graphics, and community posts) with third parties.
You may not transfer your access or login credentials to anyone else.
Commercial use or external training using Academy content is strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to revoke your access if you violate these terms.

3. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All original content—including but not limited to videos, written materials, graphics, course outlines, community discussions, and supplementary resources—are the exclusive intellectual property of Dr. Lorre Laws and The Haelan Academy, Inc.

4. Community Contributions & Privacy

The Academy community is a supportive, confidential space. You are responsible for the content you post.
By participating, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display de-identified excerpts of your contributions (e.g., forum posts, testimonials, feedback) for educational and promotional purposes. We will remove names and identifying details to protect your privacy.
We will never share your personal information or identifiable data without your explicit consent.

5. Educational and Professional Disclaimer

The Haelan Academy, Inc. is operated by Dr. Lorre Laws, PhD, RN. Dr. Laws is not a licensed medical doctor or physician. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing.
No Medical Advice:
All content, materials, discussions, and resources provided through the Academy—including but not limited to videos, written materials, community forums, and live sessions—are for general informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing in the Academy constitutes or is intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participation in the Academy does not establish a provider-patient or provider-client relationship with Dr. Laws or The Haelan Academy, Inc. No Guarantee of Results:
Outcomes vary by individual. The Academy does not guarantee any specific results or outcomes from participation.

We are not responsible for technical issues, downtime, or access problems due to third-party platforms, user technology, or internet connectivity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy, Dr. Lorre Laws, and The Haelan Academy, Inc. disclaim liability for any damages arising from your participation, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Payment, Refunds, and Access

Payment terms are outlined at the point of sale. Access is granted upon payment or as otherwise specified.
Refunds are subject to the Academy’s posted refund policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for non-payment or violation of these Terms.

8. Termination & Revocation

We may revoke your license and access to the Academy at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms, including but not limited to sharing content, disrupting the community, or engaging in harassment or incivility.
No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts.

9. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona.

10. Nonprofit Status Disclosure

The Haelan Academy, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our mission is to provide education and recovery services to nurses and health professionals experiencing trauma and burnout worldwide.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Academy constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Notice of significant changes will be provided via email or platform notification.
